Two choirs sing for the 1pm Spanish Mass: El Coro de la Santísima Trinidad, lead by Rafael Moras, and Los Niños de Valor, under the direction of Alberto Magellanes. The latter usually plays the last Mass of the month, in conjunction with the Spanish youth ministries.
Rafael Moras - Spanish Choir Director
El Coro de la Santisima Trinidad performs contemporary Spanish Catholic music, including original songs by two or its members: Jesús Rodríguez (including Perdóname, No me Voy a Soltar, and Aquí Estoy) and Rafael Moras (Te Siento Junto a Mí, Huellas en la Arena, and many of the Responsorial Psalms). El Coro de la Santísima Trinidad has performed two of Rafael´s Catholic musicals (The Prodigal Brother and The Most Important Woman in the Bible). In 2014 el Coro offered two performances of The Most Important Woman in Mexico, as part of a Mission Trip lead by Father Martin. The proceedings of the shows were donated to local Catholic charities.
The Holy Trinity Spanish Choir, "Coro Niños de Valor”, is led by Alberto Magallanes. The Choir performs contemporary Spanish Catholic music, and provides support to other parishes in San Antonio: Christ King, and Our Lady of Good Counsel.
The mission is to develop the Musical talent as a personal pray and own conversion (for the children and their family) putting this talent for the service to the church and the Community, Bringing the Gospel thru Music.
To become an option of pray and sing, while the children and the families learn the importance of the liturgical moments, meditating the Gospel
The Choir consists of children aged 7 to 14 years, and Parents that help on the mission.
