9th. The following schedule is effect for Ash Wednesday ONLY: Prayer Service with Distribution of Ashes at 6:30AM, 5PM
and 7:15PM. NO COMMUNION will be at these services. Only the Liturgy of the Word and Distribution of Ashes will take place.
There will be TWO Eucharistic Liturgies that day: 8:30AM and 12:05PM. For the season of Lent, we will have a Communion
Prayer Service at 6:30AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We will have the Eucharistic Liturgy at 6:30AM on

catechumens and candidates are sent to be a part of the Rite of Election on this First Sunday of Lent. It will probably be the
9:30AM Liturgy. The location for the Rite of Election has not yet been determined. In times past it has been here at Holy Trinity
on the same Sunday at 2:30PM.Lenten Penitential Service: This will take place on Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:15PM. We will
have between 15-18 priests available for Individual Confession and Absolution. Divine Mercy Sunday: May 1st. Deacon Guy will
lead the prayer service at 2:30PM in the Church that afternoon. Mother’s Day & First Communion Weekend: May 8th. Most of
the First Communicants will be at the celebration on Saturday, May 7th, at 11AM, in the Church. Some of the First
Communicants will be attending one of the Sunday liturgies if they so choose, May 8th.Rite of Sprinkling: Msgr. Mike suggested
that throughout the seven (7) weeks of Easter, for the Sunday Liturgies, we should do the Rite of Sprinkling in place of the
Penitential Rite. Some kind of music should accompany this ritual, either sung or instrumental. Confirmation will be with AB
Gustavo Garcia-Siller on Saturday, May 14th at 11AM…Diaconate ordination for David Seguin is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th.
The time is to be determined. We will have a parish celebration on Sunday, June 5th.
John: He informed the Staff that spoke about the Weight Watchers group. The issue will be finished one way or the other. Insurance by
them is a question mark. The whole parish is invited as they began on January 25th. The participants are charged $10 weekly. A
charge for usage to the parish is to be made as well…Alcoholics Anonymous meeting here at Holy Trinity is to begin in March
2011. They are looking for enough parishioners to hold the meetings here. John Welsh is the HT coordinator. His name and phone
number are on the front cover of the bulletin…There is a heavy usage of the facilities on Tuesdays. There were some conflicts
recently with room availability. He needs to know if a group or organization is NOT going to avail themselves of their scheduled
room.
Cecilia: A reminder to the staff and parishioners that labor or services are NOT tax deductible, even when offered to the parish. A letter
of record will be given to those who donate in this manner. This is Archdiocesan policy as well. An example of the ?Single Gift
Acknowledgement? was handed out to the staff as well…She wondered about a criteria from the parish on financial assistance to
those who seek it. Craig outlined this procedure / process for the Staff. It is not written but is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Assistance is given only for a single occasion.
Craig: He reminded the Staff that Monday is a holiday – Martin Luther King Day.
Kristin: She reminded us of a new arrival. Clare Angela Dietel arrived on January 4, 2011 weighing 7 pounds and 15 ounces.
Congratulations to Eric and Brooke…We had 132 children celebrate the sacrament of Penance for the first time on Saturday,
December 11th at Holy Trinity. The next parent/child workshop for children preparing to celebrate the sacrament of Eucharist will
be held on January 31st and February 2nd during regular class times in the St. Simon/St. Peter rooms. Eric will present the
information for these workshops…Current enrollment is 798 elementary students and 90 catechists…There will be no Faith
Formation classes on January 17th and 19th and the Faith Formation Office will be closed on Monday, January 17th in observance of
the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday…Kristin and Eric attended the North East/North Central Deanery meeting on Tuesday, January
11th at St. Anthony de Padua. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 8th at St. Mark from 11:30AM until 2PM. We will be
attending the Mid-Winter Gathering on February 24th at Blessed Sacrament from 8:30AM until 4PM…She also had some Faith
Formation Building issues. They included: We had an accident on the playground last Monday evening because a child was playing
unsupervised on the playground equipment. Signs are clearly posted that children must be supervised by an adult, but we are having
difficulty enforcing this policy. We welcome any suggestions. The bathrooms in the Faith Formation Building were not cleaned
before the children arrived for class this Monday, January 10th. When Joaquin cannot be here and we know that class is scheduled
for the evening, arrangements need to be made for someone to come in and clean the bathrooms before the children arrive. This is a
health issue and must be a priority.
Lizzette: She asked for prayers for a member of her family.
Gloria: A reminder to the Staff that the bulletin will be expanding to an additional three (3) pages, including one (1) more for advertising
purposes. This will take place the weekend of February 12-13th.
Closing Prayer: Meeting closed with prayer led by Eric and lunch followed.
