- CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION
  
  Confirmation Preparation is a 2-year process and begins in High School
  at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
  
  ***Classes begin the week of September 17, 2023.
  We will have a mandatory parent meeting on
  September 12, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Church.***
  
  Please Note:
  A copy of your child's Baptism certificate is required to register &
  families must be registered parishioners with Holy Trinity Catholic Church in order to enroll in Confirmation Classes.

  Confirmation Year I (Life Teen): This class is for high school students (incoming 9th graders or above) starting their Confirmation preparation. All Confirmation I students will need to complete our Life Teen program for their Year 1 Confirmation requirement.

  Confirmation Year II: This class is for high school students (incoming 10th graders or above) who have completed Confirmation Year 1 (Life Teen). These students will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of 2024. Teens will be taken into a deeper knowledge of the Catholic Faith and be given opportunities to grow in deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit and their community.

  Catholic School Students: (10^th grade and above)
  
  High School Catholic School students preparing to be Confirmed have two options:
  
  Participate in the standard two-year program above (Life Teen & Confirmation II).
  
  Do a one-year program that begins their sophomore year (Confirmation II only). To enroll in our one-year program, students must have completed their 9th grade education at a Catholic School. They will also need to complete a Confirmation Interview with the Confirmation Coordinator prior to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
  
  Confirmation Sponsor: Each youth will need one sponsor present at the Confirmation Ceremony. Confirmation Sponsors must be over the age of 16, and a Confirmed Catholic who is active and in good standing with the church. Confirmation Sponsor forms are due by Friday, December 15th, 2023, for Confirmation II students.

  Confirmation Saint: Confirmation II students will research the lives of the Saints and select a Confirmation Saint Name. Saint Name Presentations will be held in class at the end of the Fall semester. For their saint presentation, teens will need to invest time in discovering a Saint who demonstrates qualities that they admire and would like to emulate in their own life.
  
  Confirmation Retreat: All Confirmation students are required to attend a high school retreat prior to receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our annual High School weekend retreat will be held January 12-14th, 2024 (this retreat is open to all high schoolers). A High School Day Retreat will be also be offered this year; Date(s): TBA (for Confirmation II students only).
