Divine Mercy Sunday Service
April 27, 2014 @ 3:00pm.
Join with parishioners, family and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and throughout the world in celebrating the Feast of Divine Mercy as requested by Jesus. According to revelations given to St. Faustina Kowalska, Jesus asked that the first Sunday after Easter be proclaimed as the...Feast of Mercy.
Promises of the Feast of Mercy: Jesus said "The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment...On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet." (Diary #699)
Pope Francis "decreed that Blesseds John XXIII and John Paul II will be enrolled among the saints on April 27, 2014, Divine Mercy Sunday." We will also celebrate the canonization of these two beloved popes in solidarity with the millions of pilgrims who will fill St. Peter's Square on Divine Mercy Sunday. Come and join in!
