All participants in this competition must be Holy Trinity Catholic Church registered parishioners. A registered parishioner is determined by the parent or grandparent or emancipated adult under the age of 25 and is verified as a parishioner in the church registrar. (please see the frequently asked questions page for details on becoming a registered parishioner). Eligibility is based on the scholarship category selected:
A student continuing their high school education (grades 9-12) at a Catholic High School within the San Antonio Archdiocese is eligible or:
A student graduating from an accredited high school (senior) entering into business school, community college, undergraduate 4-year college, or university is eligible or:
A 1st-year college student attending a business school, community college, undergraduate 4-year college, or university is eligible.
The Knights of Columbus Affiliated College Scholarship only: All participants must be affiliated* to a member (in good standing as defined by the council) of the Knights of Columbus Council 9967
* (Affiliation is defined as the applying contestant "student" be a child, step-child, foster child, or an adopted child or a grandchild of a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9967)
Competition Submission time frame:
This year's competition opens on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 and closes
Sunday, April 13th, 2025, at 9 pm.
Application Deadline:
The council must receive your completed application and all required documents for submission in the 2025-2026 academic school year scholarship competition. It must be received via email only by
Sunday, April 13th, 2025, with a date-time stamp of 9:00 pm Central Standard Time. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. The date and time stamped by our receiving email inbox validate compliance. Applicants will be notified by email by the Knights of Columbus Activities Director after receiving their applications for consideration.
