VIANNEY CENACLE
The Holy Trinity Vianney Cenacle is a ministry that offers spiritual service on behalf of all priests and priestly vocations. The Cenacle is named after St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests. Vianney Cenacles were developed out of an international apostolate, The Foundation of Prayer for Priests, which was established in 2013 and is supported by the Vatican's Congregation of Clergy. Through Vianney Cenacles, "individuals in communities or parishes offer prayer, and through a program of 'spiritual adoption' of priests and seminarians, a spiritual reservoir of grace is built for priests and seminarians." (https://foundationforpriests.org)
To contribute to the building of this spiritual reservoir of grace, the Holy Trinity Vianney Cenacle engages in various forms of intercessory prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, sacrifice, or service for the sanctification of all priests and seminarians. Members commit to one hour per week, on a designated day, to individually engage in one or more forms of spiritual service, as the Holy Spirit leads them.
While all the faithful share in the responsibility to pray for priests, seminarians, and vocations, and many do so individually or through other ministries, the Vianney Cenacle is honored to offer daily, dedicated spiritual service on their behalf. In this way, we care for our priests, our future priests, and the Church! These are the spiritual sons of Our Blessed Mother, and our own sons and brothers in Christ. They are The Church's shepherds and alteri Christi.
All adult men and women, open to discovering and living out their call to spiritual motherhood and fatherhood of souls, especially for clergy and seminarians, are very welcome to join this ministry.
We meet as a group monthly, on the second Wednesday, from 1-2 PM, in Room A of the Banquet Hall. Otherwise we are essentially a virtual group, praying daily on our own. For further information or questions contact:
